Smoke Hunter 1.0 — Official Maintenance & Troubleshooting Manual

Smoke Hunter 1.0 — Official Maintenance & Troubleshooting Manual

Thank you for choosing the Smoke Hunter 1.0. To ensure you achieve the best performance and maximum product lifespan, we have organized the following essential maintenance secrets, troubleshooting steps, and warranty details for your convenience.

1. First-Time Use & Smoke Leakage Troubleshooting

Scenario A: Noticeable smoke leaking from the bottom during first-time use

Action Required: Please stop using the product immediately.

Our Warranty Promise: If you detect smoke leaking from the base during your very first use, it indicates a rare factory or transit defect. You are eligible to apply for a return or a free replacement right away. To ensure the highest standard of user experience, we will ship you a brand-new complete product directly, rather than sending individual loose replacement parts.

Scenario B: Smoke leaking from the lid threads

Action Required: Do not worry; this simply means the lid has not been fully engaged. Please apply firm pressure and tighten the lid securely by turning it clockwise, then test it again.

Standard Performance: If the leakage stops entirely after tightening, it confirms the structural seal is secure and your device is operating perfectly normally.

2. Filter Life Maintenance & Drying Tips

To effectively maximize the service life of your internal filter, please follow this straightforward care routine:

STEP ONE: Twist open the lid after your session.

STEP TWO: Remove the upper sponge.

STEP THREE: Expose the white HEPA filter inside to let it air dry naturally.

Note on Frequency: You do NOT need to perform this drying process after every single use. It is completely safe and effective to let it air dry after using it more than 10 times.

When to Dry: If you ever begin to notice a clogging sensation or feel increased breathing resistance during use, simply dry the core out completely using the method mentioned above. This step will instantly revive the filter and drastically extend its overall lifespan.

3. Sponge Cleaning & Maintenance Instructions

Please monitor the sponge sitting directly on top of the internal filter. This component serves as a frontline shield engineered to absorb excess moisture and oily grease:

For Heavy Users: Please remove the sponge after every 10 uses to wash and dry it thoroughly before re-inserting it.

Infinite Reusability: The sponge is designed to be washed as many times as you like.

Extra Bonus Included: To ensure your usage is never interrupted while waiting for a wet sponge to dry, we have included an extra backup sponge in your original package for FREE. Simply swap it in to keep your device running.

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING & LIMITATION

EXCEPT for the upper lid and the sponge (which are completely washable), the internal filter core CANNOT be washed or exposed to water under any circumstances!

Please pay strict attention to this rule: washing or soaking the filter core will permanently damage the internal HEPA filtration material, causing it to fail completely. Keep the core dry at all times.

4. Quick-Reference Troubleshooting Table

Issue Condition Official Solution
Base Leakage Discovered on your very first use. Discontinue use immediately. Contact customer support for a FREE brand-new product replacement.
Thread Leakage Smoke escapes from the lid seam during normal use. Tighten the lid firmly clockwise until it is completely sealed and locked in place.
Clogging / High Resistance Airflow feels tight or restricted after multiple sessions. Remove the lid and sponge, then let the white HEPA filter dry out thoroughly under the sun or in a well-ventilated area.
Wet or Oily Sponge Accumulates moisture/grease after around 10 uses. Pull the sponge out to wash and dry it freely, or temporarily replace it with your included bonus backup sponge.
