By accessing this product support page or utilizing our voluntary warranty services, you agree to be bound by the terms, operational limitations, and care instructions outlined below. These terms define the precise scope of our brand warranty across all product series.

1. Scope of the Initial Activation Warranty (Base Leakage)

Our brand stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We provide a specialized warranty for the initial activation of any genuine Smoke Hunter device:

  • Defect Condition: If you detect noticeable output or particles leaking directly from the bottom exhaust vent of the device during its very first use, you must discontinue use immediately.

  • Resolution Policy: Base leakage during the initial activation session is classified as a manufacturing or transit defect. Upon verification by our support team, you are eligible for an immediate return or a free replacement.

  • Full-System Commitment: To guarantee your user experience, we will dispatch a brand-new, complete product package to you free of charge, rather than shipping individual loose replacement parts.

2. Operational Limitations & User Maintenance Mandates

To maintain your warranty eligibility and ensure the long-term integrity of your device, you are required to follow the general maintenance principles prescribed for your specific product generation. Please note that our specialized replacement cartridges remain fully compatible across our applicable series:

  • Core Moisture Management: Internal core components do not need to be dried after every single session. It is completely safe and recommended to perform standard air-drying or natural dehumidification after multiple sessions (typically 10+ uses).

  • Airflow Optimization: If you experience an accumulation of moisture, a clogging sensation, or increased resistance during normal operation, you must follow the user manual for your specific model to expose the primary filter core and allow it to dry out thoroughly in a well-ventilated area or under the sun. This preventive maintenance is mandatory to maximize the cartridge’s operational lifespan.

  • Pre-Conditioning Components: If your specific model includes a removable pre-conditioning pad or sponge designed to trap moisture and oily residues, you must maintain it according to instructions (typically rinsing and drying after every 10 uses). Any complimentary backup components included in your original package are provided to ensure zero operational downtime during maintenance.

3. ⚠️ Critical Structural Restriction & Liability Exclusion

VOID WARRANTY NOTICE: While designated external covers and washable pre-conditioning pads can be rinsed safely, the main internal filter cartridge and its core compound CANNOT be washed, submerged, or exposed to liquid under any circumstances.

Please be explicitly advised that washing, rinsing, or soaking the main filter core will cause permanent, irreversible damage to the internal filtration materials, resulting in complete structural failure. Any failure, degradation of performance, or clogging resulting from exposing the non-washable core to liquids is strictly classified as user negligence and will completely void all applicable warranties, refund eligibility, and replacement claims.

4. General Troubleshooting Agreement

Before filing a formal warranty claim for performance anomalies, you agree to review the official troubleshooting guide for your specific model and perform basic structural checks:

  • Interface Seal Integrity: If output escapes from the structural seams or connection interfaces where components assemble, you must first ensure that all caps, threads, or interlocking mechanisms are fully engaged, aligned, and tightly locked according to your model's specifications. If the leakage stops entirely upon proper adjustment and tightening, the device is verified to be in standard working condition, and no warranty claim will be approved.

5. Limitation of Liability

Smoke Hunter provides these voluntary replacement policies solely for authentic Smoke Hunter branded models. We reserve the right to deny warranty services, refunds, or replacement requests if the product shows clear signs of physical abuse, unauthorized modification, commercial misuse, or a total disregard for the explicit drying mandates and non-washable core restrictions outlined in our official documentation.
